Make outbound calls to prospective customers from leads generated through marketing campaigns, referrals, and databases.
Handle inbound enquiry calls promptly and professionally, capturing accurate customer requirements.
Explain Sunrad's solar and electrical product/service offerings clearly, addressing customer questions and objections.
Qualify leads based on defined criteria (budget, rooftop suitability, decision-making authority, timeline) before passing to field sales.
Schedule and confirm site-visit appointments for the field sales/technical team. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all calls, leads, and follow-ups in the CRM/tracking system.
Follow up consistently with warm and cold leads as per the defined follow-up cadence, without letting leads go cold.
Achieve daily/weekly/monthly call volume and conversion targets set by the Sales Team Lead.
Coordinate with the field sales and technical teams to ensure smooth hand-off of qualified leads.
Provide feedback from customer calls to help refine sales pitches, offers, and lead quality. Represent Sunrad professionally in every customer interaction, upholding the company's brand and values.
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum qualification: 12th pass / Any Degree (Bachelor's degree preferred but not mandatory).
Valuable verbal communication skills in Tamil and working knowledge of English/Hindi. Confident, polite, and persuasive telephone manner.
Basic computer literacy – comfortable using CRM tools, MS Excel, and messaging apps. Ability to handle rejection positively and stay motivated toward targets.
Good listening skills and attention to detail in capturing customer information. Willingness to learn about solar/renewable energy products (training will be provided).
