Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate, skilled, and dedicated Music Vocal Teacher to join our CBSE school. The candidate will be responsible for teaching vocal music to students across different age groups, developing their musical abilities, and preparing them for school assemblies, competitions, cultural programmes, examinations, and other events.

The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of Indian Classical and/or Light Music, excellent vocal skills, good classroom management abilities, and a genuine interest in nurturing students' creativity and confidence.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and deliver engaging vocal music lessons for students across different grades.
- Teach fundamentals of Indian Classical Music, including swaras, alankars, basic ragas, taal, voice culture, and music appreciation.
- Train students in devotional, patriotic, folk, classical, semi-classical,



and contemporary songs as appropriate.
- Prepare students for school assemblies, annual functions, competitions, concerts, celebrations, and inter-school events.
- Conduct individual and group vocal practice sessions.
- Identify and nurture students with special musical talent.
- Maintain discipline and create a positive, encouraging learning environment.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching resources, practice schedules, and assessment records.
- Assess students' musical progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with other teachers and the school management for cultural and performing-arts activities.
- Participate actively in school events, clubs, workshops, and extracurricular programmes.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
