- Fitting Tools: Final production machinery using hand tools, power tools, and precision instruments.
- Reading Technical Drawings: Interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings to check specifications, dimensions, and tolerances.
- Precision Measurement: Use measuring tools like vernier calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify component accuracy.
- Machining and Fabrication: Perform operations like drilling, tapping, grinding, cutting, and basic welding to modify or fix parts on the shop floor.
- Machine Maintenance: Support routine preventive maintenance and rapid breakdown repairs to minimize production downtime.
- Quality Control: Inspect finished assemblies for proper alignment, smooth movement, and defect-free output before passing them downstream.
