Destination Team Lead – Study Abroad

About the Role

We are looking for experienced Study Abroad professionals to take responsibility for counselling, student recruitment and business performance for one or more international study destinations.

We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in:

Australia | New Zealand | Germany | France | Sweden | Latvia | Other European Destinations

Candidates are not expected to have expertise in all these countries. Strong knowledge and practical counselling experience in one or more destinations is sufficient.

Professionals with strong experience in other international study destinations are also welcome to apply.

A minimum of 2 years of direct work experience in the Study Abroad / Overseas Education industry is mandatory. Candidates without relevant industry experience will not be considered.

This is a hands-on, target-driven role requiring strong destination knowledge, student counselling ability and a proactive approach towards lead follow-up, conversions and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

- Take responsibility for counselling and student recruitment for assigned destination(s).
- Guide and support counsellors handling the destination.
- Counsel students directly and help convert suitable opportunities.
- Drive lead follow-up, registrations, applications and enrolment conversions.
- Review student pipelines and ensure opportunities are followed up systematically.
- Guide counsellors on destination selection, counselling, objection handling and conversion.
- Monitor individual and destination/team performance against targets.
- Identify conversion gaps and take action to improve results.
- Maintain updated knowledge of universities, programmes,



admission requirements and developments relating to assigned destinations.
- Work closely with management to achieve destination-wise student recruitment and business targets.

Candidate Requirements

- Minimum 2 years of direct Study Abroad / Overseas Education industry experience – MANDATORY.
- Solid practical knowledge of at least one international study destination.
- Hands-on experience in Study Abroad counselling and/or student recruitment.
- Experience working with student registrations, enrolments, conversions or business targets.
- Strong counselling, communication and follow-up skills.
- Proactive, target-driven and conversion-focused approach.
- Ability to take ownership of an assigned destination and its business performance.
- Ability to guide, support and motivate other counsellors.

Previous Team Lead designation is not mandatory.

Strong Senior Counsellors / Study Abroad Advisors / Destination Specialists who are ready to take greater responsibility for a destination and team are encouraged to apply.

Destination Experience

Compensation

₹30,000 – ₹45,000 per month

Compensation will depend on relevant Study Abroad experience, destination expertise and demonstrated performance.
