Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accountant with 1 year of experience working in a CA firm. The candidate should have a positive understanding of accounting principles, bookkeeping, GST, TDS, bank reconciliation, and basic taxation-related activities.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing accounting entries, supporting statutory compliance, and assisting in day-to-day accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain day-to-day accounting records and bookkeeping.

Pass and verify journal, purchase, sales, receipt, and payment entries.

Maintain and reconcile cash and bank accounts.

Perform regular Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS).

Assist in preparation and filing of GST returns.

Assist with TDS calculation, reconciliation, and return filing.

Prepare and maintain ledgers, trial balance, and other accounting schedules.

Assist in preparation of financial statements and reports.

Handle vendor and customer account reconciliation.

Verify invoices, bills, vouchers, and supporting documents.

Assist in GST, TDS, income tax, and other statutory compliance activities.





Coordinate with clients/internal departments for required financial and accounting documents.

Assist in preparing data and documents required for audit and tax assessments.

Required Skills

Good knowledge of basic accounting principles.

Hands-on experience with Tally Prime / Tally ERP.

Basic to good knowledge of GST and TDS.

Understanding of BRS, ledger reconciliation, and trial balance.

Basic knowledge of income tax and statutory compliance.

Good knowledge of MS Excel.

Good numerical and analytical skills.

Qualification

B.Com / M.Com preferred.

Candidates with relevant accounting qualifications/certifications may also be considered.

Experience

Minimum 1 year of experience in a CA firm is preferred.

Candidates should have practical exposure to bookkeeping, GST, TDS, reconciliation, and accounting-related work.

Experience handling multiple clients/accounts in a CA firm will be an added advantage.

Preferred Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should have practical exposure to accounting and statutory compliance through a CA firm and should be comfortable working on Tally, Excel, GST, TDS, reconciliations, and routine accounting activities.

Pay: Up to ₹15,000.00 per month
