FIRE PROTECTION ENGINEER – JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Fire Protection Engineer to design, review, and coordinate fire protection and firefighting systems for industrial, commercial, and EPC projects.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and develop fire protection and firefighting systems as per project requirements and applicable standards.
- Prepare fire protection layouts, drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Design systems including fire hydrant, sprinkler, fire water, foam, fire alarm, and fire suppression systems.
- Perform hydraulic calculations for firefighting and sprinkler systems.
- Prepare equipment and material specifications, BOQs, and material take-offs.
- Review vendor drawings, technical documents, and engineering calculations.
- Coordinate with Civil, Structural,



Mechanical, Electrical, Piping, and other engineering disciplines.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable NFPA, local codes, and project specifications.

Qualification:

- B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Civil, Fire & Safety, or related engineering discipline.
- Fire Protection / Fire & Safety certification is an added advantage.

Experience:

- 3–8 years of experience in fire protection engineering and design.
- Experience in industrial, oil & gas, EPC, commercial, or infrastructure projects.
