Job Description
- Identify gaps, develop and implement solutions to drive Performance Improvement across multiple warehouse sites/operations activities including data collection, assessment and collection, facility layouts, process design, staff planning, budgeting and proposal development.
- Coach, mentor and develop a team of Methods engineers / specialists to drive standardization and best practice sharing across warehouse operations.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives (LEAN, 5S, Kaizen) to optimise warehouse processes, layout and material flow.
- Define and deploy standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions across all sites.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Operations, Quality, Health & Safety, IT) to align methods and tools.
- Monitor KPIs (productivity, accuracy, safety, cost) and drive corrective actions.
- Support new site ramp-ups and process transfers.
- Ensure compliance with Schneider Electric standards and local regulations.
Qualifications
- Engineering degree (Industrial / Mechanical / Electrical / Supply Chain) with 10+ years of experience in warehouse / distribution operations, of which 3+ years in a methods / continuous improvement leadership role.
- Robust knowledge of LEAN, Six Sigma, 5S and warehouse process optimisation.
- People management experience (team of 8+ engineers).
- Demonstrated ability to drive standardisation across multiple sites.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Willingness to travel across warehouse sites.
