Role Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our strategic AI transformation program focused on accelerating SDTM development through AI-enabled technologies. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, implementing, and managing scalable cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, AI/ML deployment platforms, and DevSecOps practices for a next-generation clinical data application.

The engineer will collaborate closely with Development Systems, IT, AI Research Center, Statistical Programming, and Application Engineering teams to establish a secure, automated, and highly available platform capable of supporting AI workloads, enterprise applications, and regulated clinical environments.

This role requires an individual with deep technical expertise in cloud-native technologies, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), MLOps, and enterprise DevOps practices who can thrive under aggressive project timelines.

What You’ll Do

Cloud Infrastructure & Platform Engineering

Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable, and highly available cloud infrastructure supporting AI-enabled SDTM applications.Build cloud-native platforms using AWS, Azure, or GCP.Manage containerized environments using Kubernetes and Docker.Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar technologies.Optimize cloud infrastructure for cost, performance, scalability, and reliability.

- Cloud Infrastructure & Platform Engineering
- Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable, and highly available cloud infrastructure supporting AI-enabled SDTM applications.Build cloud-native platforms using AWS, Azure, or GCP.Manage containerized environments using Kubernetes and Docker.Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar technologies.Optimize cloud infrastructure for cost, performance, scalability, and reliability.
- CI/CD & DevOps Automation
- Design and implement enterprise CI/CD pipelines for application, AI model, and infrastructure deployments.Automate build, testing, deployment, rollback, and release management processes.Integrate automated code quality, security scanning, and compliance validation into deployment pipelines.Support blue-green, canary, and zero-downtime deployment strategies.
- AI Platform & MLOps
- Build and manage infrastructure supporting AI/ML model training, deployment, monitoring,



and lifecycle management.Implement MLOps best practices for versioning, model deployment, monitoring, and retraining.Collaborate with AI Research teams to operationalize Generative AI and LLM-based solutions in production.Support GPU-enabled environments for AI workloads.
- Security & Compliance
- Implement DevSecOps practices throughout the software development lifecycle.Ensure infrastructure complies with enterprise security policies and GxP/regulatory requirements.Manage IAM, secrets management, encryption, vulnerability remediation, and audit logging.Support disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity planning.
- Monitoring & Site Reliability
- Implement centralized logging, monitoring, observability, and alerting solutions.Monitor platform health, application performance, infrastructure utilization, and AI services.Drive proactive performance tuning and incident resolution.Ensure high availability and operational excellence of production environments.
- Cross-functional Collaboration
- Partner with Application Development, AI Research Center, Statistical Programming, Development Systems, and IT Operations teams.Participate in architecture reviews, release planning, sprint ceremonies, and technical design discussions.Mentor engineers on DevOps best practices and automation strategies.

Must-Have Skills

- 8-10 years of experience in AWS

- 8-10 years of experience in Kubernetes

- 8-10 years of experience in Terraform / Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

- 8-10 years of experience in Azure DevOps / GitHub Actions

- 8-10 years of experience in MLOps & AI Platform Deployment – upskilling

- 8-10 years of experience in Monitoring & Observability (Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk)

- 8-10 years of experience in Python & Shell Scripting

- 8-10 years of experience in Git & Version Control

- 8-10 years of experience in High Availability & Disaster Recovery

- 8-10 years of experience in Container Security
