Job Summary

Eastencher Software Private Limited is looking for a passionate Android Developer with 4–6 years of experience in building high-quality Android applications. The ideal candidate should have robust expertise in Kotlin/Java, Android frameworks, and modern development practices, with the ability to deliver scalable and user-friendly mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities

* Design, develop, and maintain Android applications.

* Collaborate with Product, Design, and Backend teams to deliver new features.

* Integrate REST APIs and third-party services.

* Ensure application performance, quality, security, and responsiveness.

* Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues.

* Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code.

* Participate in code reviews and follow development best practices.

Required Skills

* 4–6 years of experience in Android application development.

* Strong proficiency in Kotlin and/or Java.

* Experience with Android SDK, Android Studio, and Gradle.





* Good understanding of Material Design and Android UI/UX principles.

* Hands-on experience with REST APIs and JSON parsing.

* Familiarity with MVVM and MVP architecture patterns.

* Experience with Jetpack Components:

* LiveData

* ViewModel

* Room Database

* Navigation Component

* Proficiency in Git and version control workflows.

Good to Have

* Experience with Firebase (Crashlytics, Analytics, Push Notifications).

* Knowledge of Dagger/Hilt for Dependency Injection.

* Familiarity with Coroutines and modern Android development practices.

* Experience with JUnit, Espresso, or other testing frameworks.

* Understanding of Play Store deployment and release processes.

* Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Soft Skills

* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

* Good communication and collaboration abilities.

* Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.
