About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Income Tax Expert to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for handling income tax matters, ensuring timely compliance, preparing tax returns, and providing practical tax-related support to clients.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle Income Tax Return (ITR) preparation and filing for individuals, businesses, and other taxpayers.
- Manage income tax compliance and ensure timely submission of returns and related forms.
- Prepare and review tax computations and supporting documents.
- Handle TDS-related compliance, including calculations, returns, and reconciliation.
- Assist clients with income tax notices, assessments, and related communications.
- Provide tax planning and advisory support based on applicable Income Tax provisions.
- Review financial statements and accounting records for tax purposes.
- Identify tax-related issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Stay updated with changes in Income Tax laws, rules, notifications, and regulations.
- Coordinate with clients and internal teams to collect required documents and information.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure confidentiality of client information.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting,



or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of Indian Income Tax laws and regulations.
- Practical experience in ITR filing, tax computation, and TDS compliance.
- Experience with income tax portals and tax-related software.
- Good knowledge of accounting principles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and client-handling skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred

- 2+ years of relevant experience in Income Tax / Taxation / Accounting.
- Experience handling income tax notices and assessments.
- Knowledge of GST and other statutory compliances will be an added advantage.
- CA Inter, CMA, ACCA, M.Com, or other relevant professional qualifications are preferred.
