Job Summary

Catalyst Education is looking for a confident and student-focused Student Counsellor to join our Calicut team. The candidate will be responsible for counselling students and parents, understanding their educational and career goals, explaining suitable courses, handling enquiries, and supporting the admission process.

Key Responsibilities

- Counsel students and parents regarding available courses and career opportunities.
- Understand students' academic background, interests, goals, and requirements.
- Provide accurate information about courses, fees, duration, eligibility, and career prospects.
- Handle enquiries through walk-ins, phone calls, WhatsApp, and other communication channels.
- Follow up with prospective students and parents to support admission conversions.
- Conduct one-to-one counselling sessions and recommend suitable programs.
- Maintain regular follow-ups with leads and update student information in the CRM.
- Coordinate with the Telecalling, Academic, and Sales teams for effective lead management.
- Achieve assigned daily, weekly, and monthly admission targets.
- Build strong relationships with students and parents throughout the admission process.




- Address student concerns professionally and provide appropriate solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of counselling sessions, follow-ups, and admissions.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in any discipline preferred.
- Freshers with robust communication skills can apply.
- 1–3 years of experience in student counselling, academic counselling, telesales, admissions, or EdTech is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong Malayalam communication is essential; English proficiency is preferred.
- Good presentation and convincing skills.
- Ability to understand student requirements and recommend suitable solutions.
- Target-oriented and self-motivated personality.
- Basic computer and CRM knowledge.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with experience in EdTech, Education, Admissions, Academic Counselling, Inside Sales, or Customer Relationship Management will be preferred.
