Key Responsibilities

- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of mechanical equipment.
- Inspect, dismantle, repair, and assemble machines and components.
- Handle maintenance of conveyors, gearboxes, pumps, bearings, rollers, shafts, couplings, and hydraulic/pneumatic equipment.
- Carry out alignment of motors, pumps, gearboxes, and other rotating equipment.
- Replace bearings, seals, couplings, belts, chains, and other mechanical components.
- Identify mechanical faults and attend breakdowns to minimize equipment downtime.
- Perform lubrication and routine inspection of mechanical equipment.
- Assist in installation, commissioning, and shifting of mechanical equipment.
- Read basic mechanical drawings and equipment manuals.
- Follow safety procedures and use appropriate PPE during maintenance activities.
- Maintain maintenance records and report equipment abnormalities to the supervisor.





Qualification

- ITI – Fitter / Mechanical Trade
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering will be an added advantage.

Required Skills

- Good knowledge of mechanical maintenance practices.
- Hands-on experience with industrial machinery.
- Knowledge of tools, measuring instruments, and fitting work.
- Basic understanding of pumps, gearboxes, bearings, conveyors, and rotating equipment.
- Ability to work in shifts and handle breakdown situations.
- Robust focus on safety and teamwork.

Preferred Experience

Experience in Steel Plant / Rolling Mill / Sponge Iron / Ferro Alloy / Manufacturing Industry will be preferred.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
