Job Overview

The Godown Helper is responsible for supporting day-to-day warehouse and godown operations. The role involves receiving, loading, unloading, arranging, packing, picking, and dispatching materials while ensuring proper stock handling and maintaining cleanliness and safety standards. The candidate will work closely with the warehouse supervisor and team to ensure smooth and accurate movement of goods.

- Receive incoming goods and materials.
- Load and unload goods from vehicles.
- Check quantity and condition of materials received.
- Arrange and store goods properly in designated areas.
- Pick materials according to orders or instructions.
- Pack, label, and prepare goods for dispatch.
- Assist in loading materials for delivery.
- Maintain proper stock arrangement and cleanliness.
- Assist with physical stock counting and inventory checking.
- Report damaged, missing, or incorrect materials to the supervisor.
- Maintain proper handling of goods to avoid damage.




- Support the warehouse team during inward and outward movements.
- Help maintain basic records of goods received and dispatched.
- Follow warehouse safety and handling procedures.
- Assist the supervisor with day-to-day godown activities.
- Perform other warehouse-related duties as assigned.

Candidate Requirements

- Hardworking and physically fit.
- Responsible and punctual.
- Able to lift and move materials safely.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Basic reading/writing skills preferred.
- Previous godown/warehouse experience will be an advantage.
