We are seeking a passionate and qualified Social Science & Sociology Teacher to teach students in Grades 9–12. The ideal candidate will have strong subject knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to create engaging, student-centered learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in Social Science and Sociology for Grades 9–12.
- Develop lesson plans, teaching materials, assignments, projects, and assessments.
- Explain concepts clearly using real-world examples, discussions, activities, and case studies.
- Encourage critical thinking, analytical skills, and independent learning.
- Assess and monitor students' academic progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and student performance.
- Support students in preparing for examinations and academic competitions.
- Maintain a positive, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents,



and school leadership when required.
- Participate in school events, meetings, professional development programs, and other academic activities.

Requirements

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Science, Sociology, or a relevant subject.
- B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification preferred.
- Previous teaching experience at the secondary/senior secondary level preferred.
- Strong communication and classroom-management skills.
- Good knowledge of curriculum, assessment methods, and subject-specific teaching practices.
- Passion for teaching and helping students achieve their academic potential.
