Job Summary

The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for supervising housekeeping operations to ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and maintenance of guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house areas, and hotel facilities. The incumbent will lead housekeeping attendants, maintain quality standards, and ensure guest satisfaction through efficient service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise daily housekeeping operations and allocate duties to housekeeping associates.
- Inspect guest rooms, corridors, public areas, and back-of-house areas to ensure cleanliness standards are maintained.
- Ensure rooms are cleaned, prepared, and released on time for guest check-ins.
- Monitor housekeeping supplies, linen inventories, and guest amenities.
- Coordinate with Front Office, Engineering, and other departments to ensure smooth hotel operations.
- Train, guide, and motivate housekeeping team members on SOPs, grooming standards, and service excellence.
- Handle guest requests and complaints related to housekeeping promptly and professionally.




- Maintain records related to room status, lost and found, linen movement, and housekeeping logs.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and brand standards.
- Conduct regular inspections and report maintenance issues to the Engineering department.
- Assist in monthly inventory and stock control activities.
- Maintain high standards of employee grooming, discipline, and productivity.

Eligibility Criteria

- Graduation or Diploma in Hotel Management preferred.
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience in Housekeeping operations in hotels.
- Prior supervisory experience will be an added advantage.
- Good knowledge of housekeeping procedures, cleaning chemicals, and safety standards.
- Solid leadership, communication, and team management skills.
- Proficiency in basic computer operations and hotel management systems.
