Job Description

- Analyse customer enquiries, RFQs, and technical specifications for automation projects.

- Develop machine concepts and solution approaches for assembly lines.

- Prepare 2D layouts using AutoCAD and basic line configurations.

- Make process using CAD software in PPT with detailed scope and cycle time.

- Create concept presentations (PPT) explaining process flow, machine sequence, and solution approach.

- Select bought-out parts (BOP) such as actuators, sensors, motors, and standard components.

- Coordinate with suppliers for quotations and technical details.

- Prepare detailed cost estimations including BOP, manufacturing, and integration costs.

- Support sales team in techno-commercial proposal preparation and customer discussions.

- Optimize designs and costing to ensure competitiveness and margin targets.

- Maintain proposal documents, cost sheets, and technical databases for future reference.

Additional Responsibilities by Role Level:

- Independently handle complete proposals for mid-size automation projects.





- Interact with customers for technical clarifications and solution discussions.

- Standardize concepts, modules, and costing templates for faster proposal turnaround.

- Support in value engineering and cost reduction initiatives.

Key Skills and Competencies:

- Strong understanding of industrial automation, SPMs, assembly lines, and welding systems.

- Proficiency in AutoCAD for layout preparation and 3D CAD softwares.

- Ability to develop machine concepts and process flow diagrams.

- Valuable knowledge of BOP selection (pneumatics, motors, sensors, robotics, etc.).

- Strong costing and analytical skills.

- Good communication and presentation skills for internal and customer discussions.

- Ability to work under tight timelines for enquiry submissions.

- Customer visit with sales team.
