Job Description

Karthikeyan Foundations is looking for a responsible and experienced Civil Site Engineer to oversee construction activities at project sites in Chennai.

The ideal candidate should have practical knowledge of civil construction, site supervision, quality control, contractor coordination, and project execution as per approved drawings and specifications.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and monitor day-to-day construction activities at the project site.
- Ensure construction work is carried out according to approved architectural and structural drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Monitor the quality of construction materials and workmanship.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, workers, and other site teams.
- Monitor project progress and ensure work is completed according to the planned schedule.




- Identify and report site issues and coordinate with the concerned team for resolution.
- Maintain daily site reports, work records, measurements, and other required documentation.
- Ensure proper execution of civil works as per project requirements.
- Follow site safety procedures and ensure protected working practices at the project site.

Requirements

- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in civil construction/site engineering.
- Good understanding of construction methods, drawings, specifications, and site execution.
- Ability to supervise workers and coordinate with contractors.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to prepare and maintain site reports and documentation.
- Candidates who can join immediately or within a short notice period are preferred.
