Sales Engineer – Mechanical | Industrial B2B Sales

About the Role

Arch Enterprises is looking for a Sales Engineer with a Mechanical Engineering background to join our sales team. The ideal candidate will have experience in technical sales, industrial sales or B2B sales and should be comfortable understanding customer requirements and recommending suitable technical products/solutions.

Freshers with a Mechanical Engineering/Diploma background, excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude may also be considered.

Key Responsibilities

* Generate and develop B2B sales opportunities for industrial products and equipment.

* Understand customer requirements and provide appropriate technical solutions.

* Handle enquiries, quotations, follow-ups and negotiations.

* Communicate product specifications and technical information to customers.

* Develop and maintain relationships with existing and prospective clients.

* Coordinate with internal teams for quotations, orders and customer requirements.

* Follow up with leads and convert opportunities into sales.

* Achieve monthly sales and business development targets.

* Conduct customer visits when required.

* Maintain accurate records of leads, follow-ups and sales activities in the CRM/HRMS system.

Requirements

* BE/B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering preferred.

* 2–5 years of experience in technical sales, mechanical sales,



industrial B2B sales or engineering product sales preferred.

* Candidates with experience in industrial equipment, pumps, engineering products or similar technical products will be preferred.

* Strong verbal and written communication skills.

* Good interpersonal and negotiation skills.

* Ability to understand technical products and explain them clearly to customers.

* Self-motivated, proactive and target-oriented approach.

* Willingness to travel for customer meetings when required.

Freshers

Freshers with a Mechanical Engineering/Diploma background can also apply if they have:

Compensation

₹25,000 – ₹35,000 per month, depending on experience and suitability.

Salary is negotiable for candidates with strong and relevant technical sales experience.
