Job Responsibilities:

- Examining and treating injuries and illnesses in children
- Administering vaccinations and providing advice on general health and wellness topics
- Diagnosing and treating children’s diseases, infections, and other health issues
- Monitoring the growth, development, and behaviour of children and adolescents
- Conducting thorough examinations on newborns to check and record their health and normal physical development
- Advising parents on children’s diet, exercise, and disease preventive measures
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to plan and coordinate treatment
- Keeping a detailed record of patients’ illnesses, surgeries, or other medical episodes (inpatient, outpatient, consultation)
- Referring children to appropriate specialists when necessary
- Providing support and advice to parents on handling the child’s physical, emotional, and mental development milestones
