Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Digital Marketing Head to lead the organization's E-commerce and Digital Marketing function. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in E-commerce growth, performance marketing, brand strategy, P&L; management, marketplace operations, and international market expansion.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving online revenue, profitability, customer acquisition, brand growth, and overall E-commerce performance.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the overall E-commerce ecosystem, including digital marketing, influencer marketing, branding, website, and marketplace strategy.
- Develop and execute strategies for domestic and international market expansion.
- Plan and manage integrated campaigns across performance marketing, social media, influencer marketing, content, and brand marketing.
- Manage website and marketplace performance, including assortment, pricing, promotions, visibility, content, conversion, and sales growth.
- Own online revenue targets and P&L; performance.
- Drive optimization of key business metrics including ROAS, CAC, AOV, LTV, conversion rates, and customer retention.
- Build, lead, and develop high-performing E-commerce and Digital Marketing teams.
- Identify and develop recent business partnerships and revenue opportunities, particularly in international markets.
- Collaborate with Operations, Product, Finance, and other cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
- Establish a data-driven culture and use analytics to identify opportunities for growth and continuous improvement.
- Balance business growth, brand building, customer acquisition, and profitability.

Required Experience & Qualifications

- 8–12 years of experience in E-commerce, Digital Marketing, Growth, or related leadership roles.
- Proven experience taking end-to-end ownership of an online business, including strategy,



revenue growth, and P&L; management.
- Strong experience managing E-commerce websites and marketplaces, including:
- Assortment, Pricing, Promotions, Visibility, Content Conversion optimization, Sales growth

Hands-on experience across:

- Performance Marketing, Brand Strategy, Social Media Marketing, Influencer Marketing

Content Strategy, SEO

- Strong understanding of ROAS, CAC, AOV, LTV, conversion optimization, and retention.
- Proven experience managing revenue targets and substantial marketing budgets.
- Experience with international E-commerce markets is mandatory.
- Experience in markets such as GCC/Middle East, Australia, USA, or Germany is highly desirable.
- Proven experience building and leading high-performing E-commerce or Digital Marketing teams.
- Strong commercial and entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on growth and profitability.
- Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Team Leadership

The role will involve leading a large, cross-functional E-commerce and Marketing team covering areas such as:

Branding, Influencer Marketing, Content, SEO, Marketplace Management

Website Management, Performance Marketing

Preferred Background

Candidates with experience in D2C, brand-led, product-based, or E-commerce businesses are preferred.

Work Location & Schedule

Location: Pune

Work Model: Fully office-based

Working Days: 6 days per week

Working Hours: Approximately 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Candidates must be willing to relocate to Pune if required.

Notice Period

Candidates who can join within 30 days are preferred. Notice periods of up to 60 days may be considered.

Reporting

The position reports directly to the CEO.
