As our Community Mobiliser, you'll lead how we mobilize volunteers through national campaigns, build a strong

community among our volunteer leaders, and grow how we retain volunteers over time. This is a hands-on role —

you'll drive campaigns and community initiatives directly, not just support them from the sidelines.

What You'll Do

- Volunteer Campaigns
- Lead our national recruitment and fundraising campaigns, from planning through execution.
- Mobilize volunteers through group messaging, gamification, and rewards.
- Plan and run recruitment events and volunteer onboarding.
- Recruit and lead a small campaign team for each cycle.

- Volunteer Leader Community

- Run and grow our national community for volunteer leaders.
- Keep engagement active through regular conversations, recognition, and peer learning.
- Monitor community health and address disengagement early.
- Share key national updates with volunteer leaders.

- Volunteer Retention





- Build out how U&I; tracks and improves volunteer retention — a new process, not yet defined.
- Propose what to track, what interventions look like, and how to measure success.

What You Bring to the Table

- 1–3 years of experience in community building, volunteer engagement, campaign management, or program

management.

- Proactive and initiative-driven — comfortable building process where none exists yet.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Solid stakeholder management skills.
- Comfortable with gamification and campaign mechanics.
- Proficiency with everyday collaboration tools (Sheets, Trello, Asana, Notion, WhatsApp/community platforms).
- A passion for volunteerism, community impact, and social change.
