Our Product

Swan is a customer engagement platform helping enterprises drive personalized, data-driven engagement at scale. We work with customers across the Middle East (GCC) and are expanding into new geographies. Our platform is multi-tenant, cloud-native, and heavily data-driven, handling sensitive customer engagement and demographic data. We are fully deployed on Microsoft Azure and are ISO 27001 certified.

Role Overview

Loyalytics is looking for a Senior Developer to help build Swan, our customer-engagement platform. You'll take features from idea to production — designing and building scalable backend microservices and the front-end experiences on top of them, and owning them end to end.



We're looking for someone strong at end-to-end development with design thinking and problem-solving — who can work out the right way to build a service, a frontend, and everything in between, not just wire one up. The position is office-based, and in-person interview rounds are mandatory for shortlisted candidates.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices and web applications end to end.
- Build backend services (APIs and background workers) in Go, and front-end applications in React/Next.js with TypeScript.
- Design and optimize PostgreSQL data models and queries for performance and correctness.
- Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and well-tested code.
- Participate in code reviews and architecture/design decisions.
- Take end-to-end ownership of modules/features — from problem framing through production and operations.
- Mentor junior developers as needed.

Must-Have Skills & Experience

- 3–5 years building and shipping production web applications end to end.
- Strong backend engineering in a typed, compiled language — Go strongly preferred (or strong TypeScript/Java/C#/similar with the ability and appetite to work primarily in Go).
- Solid PostgreSQL — relational modeling, indexing, and query performance.
- TypeScript with React/Next.js for front-end development.
- REST and/or gRPC API design, authentication,



and microservices / event-driven patterns.
- Cloud and containers — Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD (Azure preferred; AWS/GCP fine).
- Strong design thinking, problem-solving, and end-to-end ownership.

Good-to-Have

- Go in production; multi-tenant SaaS; Domain-Driven Design / Clean Architecture.
- Message/job queues, workflow orchestration, Redis, or streaming / change-data-capture.
- Exposure to a cloud data/analytics pipeline (Spark / lakehouse).
- Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform) and observability (Prometheus/Grafana).
- Strong automated-testing habits and familiarity with testing frameworks.
- System-design knowledge; Agile/Scrum experience.
- Mentoring junior developers; explicit technical writing and documentation.
- Open-source contributions or personal side projects.

- Demonstrates strong understanding of the existing product, codebase, and development practices.
- Consistently delivers clean, scalable, and maintainable code.
- Effectively identifies and resolves technical issues and production bugs.
- Contributes meaningful ideas to improve product functionality, performance, and development processes.
- Participates actively in code reviews and maintains high engineering standards.
- Builds strong collaboration with product, QA, and other team members.
- Demonstrates ownership, reliability, and the ability to take responsibility for end-to-end delivery.
