Job Description:

Responsible for fitting, assembling, and preparing components of flow meters, strainers, and other instrumentation products according to production specifications and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Fit and assemble components using hand tools, power tools, drills, fasteners, and other workshop equipment.
- Ensure proper alignment, dimensions, clearances, and tolerances during assembly.
- Read and understand basic engineering drawings, assembly drawings, and technical specifications.
- Perform basic drilling, grinding, cutting, and fitting operations as required.
- Assist in calibration, pressure testing, leak testing, and functional testing of finished products.
- Inspect assembled components for proper fit, alignment, and workmanship.
- Coordinate with the Quality Control team to ensure products meet required technical and quality standards.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and the work area in clean and safe condition.
- Follow company safety procedures and use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).




- Report any assembly issues, material defects, or quality problems to the supervisor.
- Complete assigned production work within the required timelines.

Desired Skills:

- Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with industrial/instrumentation assemblies.
- Ability to interpret engineering and assembly drawings.
- Knowledge of basic hand tools and workshop equipment.
- Understanding of measurements, dimensions, and tolerances.
- Valuable attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a production team.

Qualification:

- ITI – Fitter / Mechanical or equivalent technical qualification preferred.
- Freshers and candidates with relevant experience can apply.
