Key Responsibilities1. Textile Design Development

- Develop creative and commercially viable textile prints, patterns, motifs, textures, and designs.
- Create current designs based on customer requirements, market trends, seasonal collections, and company requirements.
- Develop all-over prints, placement prints, repeats, motifs, geometric patterns, floral designs, and other textile artworks.
- Prepare design concepts and presentations for internal review and customer approval.
- Modify existing designs and create variations in colours, patterns, and layouts.

2. Fabric & Product Understanding

- Understand different types of fabrics, textures, weaves, prints, finishes, and production techniques.
- Select suitable designs according to the characteristics and application of the fabric.
- Ensure that designs are technically feasible for manufacturing.
- Coordinate with production teams to understand limitations and requirements during production.

3. Colour & Print Development

- Develop appropriate colour combinations, colourways, and colour palettes.
- Prepare colour separations and artwork as required for production.
- Ensure accurate colour representation from design concept to final production.
- Coordinate with production/printing teams regarding colour matching and corrections.

4. Design Software & Artwork

- Create and edit textile designs using software such as:
- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe Illustrator
- CorelDRAW




- CAD/textile design software, where applicable
- Prepare high-quality, production-ready artwork.
- Create seamless/repeat patterns and print-ready files.
- Maintain organized design files, artwork, colour references, and design libraries.

5. Market & Trend Research

- Research current textile, fashion, colour, print, and design trends.
- Study competitor products and market developments.
- Develop designs in line with current and upcoming trends.
- Create seasonal design collections and new concepts.

6. Coordination with Internal Teams

- Work closely with production, merchandising, sales, sampling, and product development teams.
- Understand customer briefs and convert them into suitable design concepts.
- Coordinate with sampling and production teams for sample development.
- Make necessary design modifications based on customer and management feedback.
- Ensure designs are delivered within the required timelines.

7. Sampling & Production Support

- Prepare artwork and design specifications for sampling and production.
- Review samples and identify design, colour, placement, or print-related discrepancies.
- Provide corrections and revised artwork when required.
- Support the production team in resolving design-related issues.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹47,000.00 per month
