We are looking for an experienced Upwork & GEM Portal Bidder / Business Development Executive who can generate qualified leads and acquire new clients through online bidding platforms and international business development channels.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Upwork bidding, GEM Portal bidding, lead generation, proposal writing, client communication, follow-ups, and closing software-services projects.

You will be responsible for targeting clients across the USA, UK, Australia, Europe, and other international markets and converting opportunities into long-term business relationships.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and bid on relevant projects on Upwork, Government e-Marketplace (GEM), and other B2B/procurement platforms.
- Search for software development and digital marketing opportunities matching our service portfolio.
- Prepare compelling, customized proposals based on client requirements.
- Generate and qualify leads from international markets.
- Communicate professionally with prospective clients through Upwork, email, LinkedIn, calls, and other channels.
- Understand client requirements and coordinate with technical teams to prepare suitable solutions.
- Schedule meetings and product/service discussions with prospective clients.
- Follow up consistently with prospects and maintain an organized sales pipeline.
- Negotiate commercials and assist in converting qualified leads into clients.
- Build long-term relationships with international clients.
- Maintain daily/weekly reports for bids, proposals, leads, meetings, and conversions.
- Achieve monthly lead-generation, bidding, and revenue targets.

Required Skills

- Strong understanding of hourly and fixed-price project proposals.
- Experience working with international clients and different time zones.
