About the Role

We're hiring six QA Engineers to validate the output of our name-matching and entity-resolution models, with a specific focus on Bengali-script data. You'll bring both linguistic rigor — reading fluency, transliteration variants, and spelling conventions in Bengali — and a structured, ML-aware QA methodology to catch errors that generic testing would miss. This is detail-heavy, high-precision work at scale, ideal for someone who's meticulous about data and comfortable digging into borderline cases.

What You'll Do

- Validate name-matching and entity-resolution model output against Bengali-script source data, checking for correctness across spelling variants and transliteration conventions.
- Evaluate model outputs systematically: build and maintain labelled test sets, run precision/recall style acceptance checks, and track quality metrics over time.
- Conduct structured review of borderline and ambiguous matching cases, documenting reasoning and edge-case patterns.
- Perform rigorous, detail-oriented data validation at scale across large record sets.
- Use spreadsheets, SQL, and review tooling to inspect data, log findings, and track issues through resolution.




- Collaborate with the ML and data engineering teams to feed QA findings back into model and pipeline improvements.

Must-Have Qualifications

- Solid background and understanding of the Bengali script: reading fluency, transliteration variants, and spelling conventions — essential for validating name-matching output.
- Prior experience doing QA for ML projects: evaluating model outputs, building labelled test sets, precision/recall style acceptance checks, and structured review of borderline cases.
- Rigorous, detail-oriented approach to data validation at scale.
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets/SQL and review tooling.

Nice to Have

- Familiarity with other Indic scripts or multilingual name-matching challenges.
- Prior experience in linguistic annotation, transliteration projects, or government/civic data work.
- Basic scripting ability (Python or similar) to speed up repetitive review tasks.

Pay: ₹316,903.77 - ₹1,381,804.07 per year
