About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and hands-on SEO Intern who wants to build a strong career in SEO and digital growth.

You will work across end-to-end SEO, including keyword research, content and blog writing, on-page SEO, technical SEO, link building, local SEO and performance tracking.

This is a hands-on role where you will work on live websites and real business outcomes, with the opportunity to take on increasing responsibility as you grow.

Strong performers will have the opportunity to transition into a full-time SEO role after the internship.

Key Responsibilities

* Execute end-to-end SEO activities for our websites.

* Conduct keyword research and identify recent ranking opportunities.

* Write and optimize SEO-friendly blogs, landing pages, website content and FAQs.

* Create content based on search intent and identify content gaps.

* Perform on-page SEO, including:

* Title tags and meta descriptions

* H1/H2/H3 optimization

* Internal linking

* Image optimization

* URL structure

* Content optimization

* Assist with technical SEO, including identifying indexing, crawlability, broken links, redirects, sitemap and other website issues.

* Work on off-page SEO and link building, including competitor backlink analysis and outreach.

* Work on local SEO, including Google Business Profile optimization.

* Monitor keyword rankings, organic traffic, impressions, clicks and conversions.

* Use tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Ahrefs/Semrush and Google Keyword Planner.

* Analyze competitors and identify new SEO and content opportunities.

* Regularly audit existing pages and improve their search performance.

* Stay updated with **Google algorithm changes and SEO best practices**.

* Prepare SEO reports and communicate progress, learnings and results.

* Basic understanding of SEO, keywords, backlinks and search engines.

* Analytical mindset and willingness to work with data.

* Comfortable learning new SEO tools and website platforms.

* Ability to independently research topics and execute tasks.

* Proactive attitude and willingness to take ownership of work.

* Someone who is looking to build a long-term career in SEO, rather than simply complete an internship.

Good to Have

* Previous SEO, content writing or digital marketing internship/project experience.

* Knowledge of WordPress or other CMS platforms.

* Familiarity with Ahrefs, Semrush, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console and GA4.

* Basic understanding of HTML.

* Experience writing or optimizing blogs for search engines.

* Understanding of AI-assisted content, GEO/AEO and emerging SEO practices.

*Stipend: ₹10,000/month
