About the Role

Little Leaders School is looking for a caring, responsible, and enthusiastic Daycare Teacher to provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for young children. The candidate will be responsible for the children's overall care, well-being, daily routines, and age-appropriate activities during daycare hours.

Key Responsibilities

- Ensure the safety, security, and well-being of all children under daycare supervision.
- Provide warm, attentive, and compassionate care to children.
- Plan and conduct age-appropriate indoor and outdoor activities, games, storytelling, art, music, and creative activities.
- Assist children with meals, snacks, personal hygiene, toileting, and other daily routines as required.
- Maintain a clean, hygienic, organized, and child-friendly daycare environment.
- Encourage positive behaviour, social interaction, sharing, and independence among children.
- Monitor children's activities and behaviour and communicate any concerns to the appropriate school authority.
- Maintain regular communication with parents regarding the child's routine, activities, and general well-being.
- Follow all school policies, safety procedures, and daycare protocols.
- Ensure proper handover of children only to authorized parents/guardians.
- Maintain basic records related to children's attendance, meals, activities, and other daycare requirements.




- Work collaboratively with teachers and other daycare staff.
- Support the school in creating a positive, safe, and happy environment for children.

Candidate Profile

- Graduate or 12th pass; qualification in Early Childhood Care & Education (ECCE), Nursery Teacher Training (NTT), Montessori, or a related field will be preferred.
- Prior experience working with young children in a school, preschool, daycare, or childcare setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patient, caring, responsible, and attentive towards children.
- Energetic and creative, with an ability to engage children in meaningful activities.
- Good hygiene and personal grooming standards.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Basic knowledge of child safety, hygiene, and first aid will be an advantage.

Working Hours

As per the school's daycare schedule. The candidate should be comfortable working extended daycare hours when required.

Salary

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
