We are currently looking for an experienced Science Tutor to teach students in Grades 8–10 following GCSE, IGCSE and CBSE curricula through one-to-one online sessions.

Role Overview

We are seeking a knowledgeable and passionate Science tutor who can confidently teach all three sciences – Physics, Chemistry and Biology at the Grade 8–10 level. The ideal candidate should have strong subject knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to explain concepts clearly while helping students develop scientific reasoning and examination skills.

Responsibilities

- Teach Physics, Chemistry and Biology to students in Grades 8–10.
- Deliver engaging one-to-one online lessons.
- Teach according to GCSE, IGCSE and CBSE curriculum requirements.
- Explain scientific concepts, theories, formulas, processes, and applications clearly.
- Help students develop strong conceptual understanding and scientific reasoning.
- Support students with schoolwork, homework, assignments, revision, and exam preparation.
- Identify learning gaps and adapt teaching methods according to individual student needs.
- Help students improve problem-solving, analytical, and examination skills.
- Prepare students for curriculum-specific assessments and examinations.
- Track student progress and provide feedback when required.
- Create an interactive, encouraging,



and student-focused learning environment.

Requirements Must Have

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Science, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Education, or a closely related field.
- Proven experience teaching Science to Grades 8–10.
- Ability to teach all three sciences: Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
- Experience teaching GCSE, IGCSE and/or CBSE curricula.
- Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
- Prior experience conducting one-to-one online classes.
- Strong subject knowledge and ability to explain concepts in a simple and structured manner.
- Stable internet connection, laptop/desktop, webcam, headset, and a quiet teaching environment.

Preferred

- Experience teaching Cambridge IGCSE, GCSE, CBSE or other international curricula.
- Experience preparing students for international and Indian board examinations.
- Familiarity with digital teaching tools and online whiteboards.
- Experience working with international students.
