Role Description

We are seeking an experienced Wire Cut Programmer cum Operator with specialized expertise in Sodick VN400 CNC Wire EDM machines to join our Tool Room team. In this role, you will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating Sodic wire-cut machines to manufacture high-precision components, inserts, core/cavities, and dies for plastic injection moulds.

Key Responsibilities

- Sodic Machine Operation & Programming: Write, edit, and optimize 2D/3D CNC wire EDM programs using Sodic controllers and CAM software .
- Setup & Precision Machining:



Perform precise workpiece alignment, clamping, zero-setting, and wire threading (manual & auto-wire threaders) to execute intricate cuts, tapers, and fine-finish passes.
- Quality Inspection: Use precision measuring instruments Indicators, to inspect finished parts against 2D drawings.

Key Qualifications & Requirements

- Education: ITI (Tool & Die Maker / Machinist) or Diploma in Mechanical / Tool Engineering.
- Experience: 2 to 4 years of direct experience operating and programming Sodic Wire Cut CNC machines within the injection mould and die manufacturing sector.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in reading engineering 2D detail drawings and understanding GD&T; symbols.
- Deep knowledge of Sodic cutting parameters, offset calculations, taper cutting, and multiple-pass fine finishing techniques.

Pay: ₹420,000.00 - ₹480,000.00 per year
