We are looking to collaborate with freelancers and independent research professionals across different states in India to support our research, monitoring, evaluation, and impact assessment projects.

The engagement will be project-based, with freelancers independently handling assigned research and data-collection activities in their respective locations. This opportunity is ideal for individuals who prefer working on a freelance/independent basis and have experience in field research, primary data collection, qualitative research, or telephonic surveys.

Key Research Activities

- Face-to-Face Surveys – Conduct structured surveys with identified respondents and collect accurate field data.
- Key Informant Interviews (KII) – Conduct interviews with key stakeholders, community representatives, experts, and other relevant respondents.
- In-Depth Interviews (IDI) – Conduct one-on-one qualitative interviews to capture detailed experiences, perspectives, and insights.
- Focus Group Discussions (FGD) – Facilitate group discussions with selected participants and document key findings and observations.
- Telephonic Surveys – Conduct structured surveys over the phone and complete the required number of responses within the project timeline.

What We’re Looking For

- Freelancers/independent researchers with experience in field research, surveys, interviews, FGDs, or data collection.




- Ability to independently manage assignments and meet project timelines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage effectively with respondents across different backgrounds and locations.
- Knowledge of local/regional languages is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel locally or across locations as required for project assignments.

Engagement & Payment

This is a freelance, project-based engagement. Assignments will be allocated based on project requirements, scope, and location.

Payment will be fixed on a project basis, depending on the nature and scope of the assignment. The payment terms will be communicated and mutually agreed upon before the commencement of each project.

Travel, Accommodation & Reimbursements

For assignments requiring travel, travel and accommodation arrangements will be provided/covered by the organisation. Expenses related to food and other eligible project-related travel expenses will also be reimbursed, as per the applicable project guidelines.
