Purpose of Role

To maintain accurate control, recording, storage, issue, receipt, reconciliation and reporting of all Raw Materials (RM),

Packaging Materials (PM), Work-In-Progress (WIP), Consumables and Finished Goods (FG) inventory within the factory.

The role is responsible for ensuring inventory accuracy, stock visibility and timely availability of materials for production.

Key Responsibilities

Raw Material Management

l Receive incoming raw materials.

l Verify quantity and quality during receipt.

l Maintain raw material stock records.

l Track inward and outward movement.

l Maintain stock accuracy.

Packaging Material Management

l Maintain inventory of pouches, labels, cartons, tapes and consumables.

l Issue packaging materials only against approved requisitions.

l Maintain packaging material stock records.

l Monitor packaging material consumption.

Inventory Control

l Maintain stock registers.

l Conduct cycle counts.

l Conduct physical stock verification.

l Investigate stock variances.

l Report discrepancies immediately.

Reorder Monitoring

l Monitor minimum stock levels.





l Generate reorder alerts.

l Inform management regarding shortages.

Documentation & Reporting

l Daily stock reports.

l Material issue records.

l Material receipt records.

l Inventory variance reports.

l Weekly inventory summary.

Mandatory Skills

l Strong inventory control knowledge.

l Positive record keeping.

l Ability to work in Excel.

l Understanding of stock reconciliation.

l Attention to detail.

l Ability to maintain discipline in store operations.

Preferred Experience

l 2 to 4 years experience in manufacturing inventory/store management.

l Experience in FMCG, Food Processing, Packaging, Agro Processing or Manufacturing preferred.

l Experience handling RM, PM, WIP and FG inventory.

Educational Qualification

l Graduate preferred.

l B.Com / BBA / Any Graduate.

Pay: ₹11,016.47 - ₹32,392.92 per month
