Key Responsibilities

Billing & POS Management

- Accurately generate customer bills using the POS system.
- Process cash, card, UPI, and other approved payment methods.
- Ensure all discounts, offers, complimentary items, and adjustments are entered correctly.
- Handle bill cancellations, refunds, and corrections as per company policy.
- Maintain accuracy in all transactions and minimize billing errors.

Cash Handling

- Receive and maintain cash during the shift.
- Ensure adequate change is available at the cash counter.
- Count and reconcile cash at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Maintain proper records of cash receipts and payments.
- Immediately report any cash shortage, excess, or discrepancy to the reporting manager.

Daily Closing & Reconciliation

- Complete end-of-shift cash and POS reconciliation.
- Match physical cash and digital payments with POS reports.
- Prepare and submit daily cash/collection reports.
- Ensure all supporting documents, receipts, and transaction records are properly maintained.
- Coordinate with the Finance and Operations teams for daily settlement and reporting.

Customer Service

- Greet customers professionally while handling billing and payment transactions.
- Resolve basic billing-related customer queries politely and efficiently.




- Coordinate with the service team and outlet management to resolve billing discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean and organized billing counter.

Compliance & Controls

- Follow company policies and procedures related to cash handling and billing.
- Ensure no unauthorized discounts, voids, or complimentary items are processed.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial and customer information.
- Support internal and external audits by providing required transaction records.
- Report suspicious transactions or irregularities to the management immediately.

Requirements

- 1–3 years of experience as a Cashier, preferably in a restaurant, café, bar, lounge, hotel, retail, or hospitality environment.
- Basic knowledge of POS systems and billing procedures.
- Good numerical and cash-handling skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and computer operations.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a rapid-paced environment.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Honest, reliable, and responsible approach to handling money.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
