- Assist the Consultant Pulmonologist during outpatient consultations, inpatient rounds and clinical procedures.
- Obtain and document comprehensive patient history, presenting complaints and relevant clinical information.
- Monitor and record patients' vital signs, clinical observations and treatment progress.
- Assist in evaluating patients with respiratory and pulmonary disorders under the supervision of the Consultant.
- Review and organize relevant investigation reports, including blood investigations, chest X-ray, CT scans, pulmonary function tests and other diagnostic reports.
- Support the Consultant in developing and documenting appropriate patient care plans.
- Identify and promptly communicate any significant change in the patient's clinical condition to the Consultant / treating team.
2. Patient Care & Coordination
- Coordinate patient care between Pulmonology, Nursing, Radiology, Laboratory, ICU and other relevant departments.
- Educate patients and attendants regarding investigations, treatment plans, medication compliance and follow-up requirements as directed by the Consultant.
- Assist in discharge planning and ensure necessary clinical documentation is completed.
- Maintain appropriate patient records and ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation.
3. Procedure & Diagnostic Assistance
- Assist the Consultant during pulmonary procedures as required, such as bronchoscopy-related preparation and other respiratory procedures.
- Ensure patients are appropriately prepared for diagnostic procedures and investigations.
- Coordinate scheduling and follow-up of pulmonary investigations and procedures.
- Ensure adherence to infection-control and patient-safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate clinical records, progress notes and patient-related documentation.
- Assist with preparation of clinical summaries, referral notes and discharge documentation.
- Coordinate follow-up appointments and investigations as advised by the Consultant.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information at all times.
- Support departmental audits, quality initiatives and hospital accreditation requirements.
Pay: Up to ₹25,000.00 per month
