Key Responsibilities1. Project Planning & Execution
- Plan, supervise, and manage electrical installation and execution activities at project sites.
- Review project drawings, specifications, BOQs, method statements, and work schedules.
- Plan manpower, materials, tools, and equipment requirements.
- Monitor project progress and ensure activities are completed within approved timelines.
- Identify project risks, technical issues, and execution constraints and provide timely solutions.
2. Electrical Systems
Manage and supervise installation of:
- HT/LT electrical systems
- Transformers and substations
- DG sets and AMF panels
- LT panels, MDBs, SMDBs and DBs
- Busducts and cable trays
- Power and lighting systems
- UPS and emergency power systems
- Earthing and lightning protection
- Electrical containment and cabling
- External electrical works
- ELV interfaces and other associated MEP services
3. Design & Drawing Coordination
- Review electrical layouts, SLDs, load schedules, shop drawings, and coordinated MEP drawings.
- Ensure site execution is strictly as per approved drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate with design consultants for drawing revisions and technical clarifications.
- Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, and technical documents.
- Coordinate electrical services with HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, architectural, structural, and civil teams.
4. Contractor & Vendor Management
- Manage electrical contractors, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Monitor contractor productivity, manpower deployment, workmanship, and progress.
- Conduct regular coordination meetings and issue technical instructions where required.
- Verify quantities and measurements for electrical works.
- Review contractor bills, material reconciliation, and consumption reports.
- Ensure approved materials are used at site and minimize material wastage.

Quality & Safety
- Ensure all electrical works comply with approved specifications, quality standards, and applicable statutory requirements.
- Conduct inspections and maintain inspection records.
- Ensure proper installation practices for cables, panels, DBs, earthing, lighting, containment, and electrical equipment.
- Coordinate with QA/QC and HSE teams to maintain project quality and electrical safety.
- Ensure testing and inspection procedures are followed before energization.
6. Testing & Commissioning
- Plan and coordinate testing and commissioning of electrical systems.
- Supervise testing of cables, panels, transformers, DGs, UPS, earthing, protection systems, and other equipment.
- Coordinate with testing agencies, vendors, consultants, and client representatives.
- Review test reports and ensure closure of observations.
- Support energization, snagging, rectification, and final handover.
7. Client & Consultant Coordination
- Attend project meetings with clients, consultants, architects, and contractors.
- Provide technical clarifications and resolve electrical design/execution issues.
- Track RFIs, technical submittals, approvals, and design changes.
- Prepare progress reports and provide regular updates to project management.
- Support inspections, walkthroughs, snagging, and project handover.
8. Documentation
Maintain and review:
- Shop drawings and approved drawings
- SLDs and load schedules
- BOQs and material submittals
- Method statements and ITPs
- Inspection requests
- Testing & commissioning reports
- As-built drawings
- O&M; manuals
- Project handover documentation
9. Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor electrical engineers, supervisors, and site teams.
- Allocate work and monitor team performance.
- Provide technical guidance and ensure effective coordination between design and execution teams.
- Promote good engineering, safety, quality, and documentation practices.
Required Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of electrical building services and MEP projects.
- Excellent understanding of HT/LT distribution systems.
- Knowledge of transformers, DGs, UPS, panels, busducts, cables, and protection systems.
- Strong understanding of lighting and small-power systems.
- Knowledge of earthing and lightning protection systems.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and SLDs.
- Knowledge of electrical load calculations, cable sizing, voltage drop, and equipment selection.
- Understanding of testing and commissioning procedures.
- Robust MEP coordination and site execution experience.
- Knowledge of BOQ, quantity estimation, material management, and contractor billing.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office/Excel.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹85,000.00 per month
