An HVAC Manager is responsible for managing the complete HVAC operation—from sales/design and procurement to installation, testing, commissioning, maintenance, and client handover.

Key Responsibilities of an HVAC Manager

- Project Planning
- Plan HVAC projects, manpower, materials, equipment, and schedules.
- Review drawings, BOQ, specifications, and work orders.
- Coordinate with consultants, clients, civil, electrical, and other contractors.
- Site Execution
- Monitor installation of VRF, VRV, chiller, AHU, FCU, ductable and split AC systems.
- Ensure proper ducting, copper piping, insulation, drainage, supports, and equipment installation.
- Check work quality and ensure installation follows approved drawings and manufacturer requirements.
- Engineering & Technical
- Review HVAC load calculations and equipment selection.
- Check duct sizing, pipe sizing, refrigerant piping, insulation thickness, and electrical requirements.
- Troubleshoot HVAC problems and guide engineers/technicians.
- Procurement & Material Management
- Prepare material requirements and coordinate purchasing.
- Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Monitor material delivery and avoid project delays.
- Manpower Management
- Allocate engineers, supervisors, technicians, and workers.




- Monitor productivity and attendance.
- Coordinate subcontractors and resolve manpower issues.
- Testing & Commissioning
- Supervise pressure testing, flushing, vacuuming, refrigerant charging, electrical checks, and commissioning.
- Verify operating parameters such as temperatures, pressures, voltage, current, airflow, and water flow.
- Ensure proper testing and handover documentation.
- Cost & Financial Control
- Control project costs and minimize wastage/rework.
- Monitor BOQ quantities, variations, additional works, RA bills, and invoices.
- Track project profitability.
- Client & Consultant Coordination
- Attend site meetings.
- Handle technical queries and approvals.
- Submit drawings, material approvals, method statements, test reports, and completion documents.
- Safety & Quality
- Ensure workers follow safety procedures.
- Maintain installation quality and conduct inspections.
- Ensure compliance with applicable HVAC standards and manufacturer guidelines.
- Maintenance & After-Sales
- Manage AMC/service activities.
- Handle breakdowns and customer complaints.
- Ensure preventive maintenance and timely service.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
