Key Responsibilities

- Deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions in Physics/Chemistry as per the prescribed curriculum.
- Prepare lesson plans, course materials, assignments, and laboratory activities.
- Conduct practical classes and ensure proper utilization and maintenance of laboratory facilities.
- Assess students through internal examinations, assignments, quizzes, practicals, and other academic activities.
- Provide academic guidance, mentoring, and support to students.
- Participate in departmental meetings, academic planning, seminars, workshops, and university events.
- Contribute to curriculum development and academic quality enhancement initiatives.
- Undertake research activities and contribute to research publications, projects, conferences, and seminars.
- Maintain academic records, attendance, examination-related documentation, and other departmental records.
- Support accreditation, institutional quality initiatives, and other academic/administrative activities assigned by the University.

Educational Qualifications:





Master’s degree in Physics and Chemistry or a relevant discipline from a recognized university.

Ph.D./NET qualification will be preferred as per applicable UGC norms.

- Strong subject knowledge and effective communication skills.
- Valuable classroom management and student engagement abilities.
- Ability to conduct and supervise laboratory practicals.
- Research-oriented approach with a willingness to publish and undertake research projects.
- Proficiency in academic documentation and basic computer applications.
- Commitment to academic excellence and professional development.

Preferred Experience

- Teaching/research experience in a university or higher education institution will be preferred.
- Candidates with relevant research publications, projects, or academic achievements will be given preference.
