Support new and/or update existing design, and development by defining, designing, and governing enterprise-wide integration solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, ensuring scalability, security, and alignment with business and IT strategy.

Responsibilities

Key Actions

SUCCESS FACTORS

Define enterprise integration strategy

- Establish integration vision, principles, and roadmap aligned with Intertek business and Intertek IT strategy

- Clear, scalable, and future-ready integration landscape

Architect end-to-end integration solutions

- Design high-level and low-level architectures (HLD and LLD) using MuleSoft and API-led connectivity
- Canonical data model design.
- Assist support team on internal developments

- Well-structured, loosely coupled, and reusable solutions

API-led connectivity governance





- Refine current standards for System, Process, and Experience APIs

- Consistent and effective API layering across projects

Integration platform ownership

- Guide configuration and usage of Anypoint Platform components

- Optimized platform utilization and reduced operational risk

Security architecture

- Define and enforce API and integration security standards

- Secure integrations compliant with enterprise and regulatory requirements such as OAuth and Policies.

Non-functional requirements ownership

- Address performance, scalability, availability, and resilience

- High-performing and highly available integrations

Technical leadership and mentoring

- Provide architectural guidance to developers and tech leads

- Improved team capability and delivery quality

Design authority and reviews

- Conduct architecture and design reviews at Design, Test and Stage Gates

- Reduced rework and architectural compliance

Stakeholder engagement

- Collaborate with business, product owners, and enterprise architects

- Alignment of solutions with business outcomes

We are Looking for You with

Qualification

- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
- 8–12 years of overall IT experience, with at least 5+ years in enterprise integration or middleware technologies
- Proven experience designing large-scale, distributed integration solutions
- Strong background in API management, SOA, and microservices architectures





Technical Certifications

- MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect – Required
- MuleSoft Certified Platform Architect – Preferred
- MuleSoft Certified Developer (Level 1 or 2) – Good to have
- TOGAF or equivalent enterprise architecture certification – Positive to have
- Cloud certifications (Azure) – Preferred

Expertise at

- MuleSoft Anypoint Platform (Design Center, API Manager, Runtime Manager, Exchange, Monitoring)
- API-led connectivity and domain-driven integration design
- RESTful API design, RAML/OAS specifications
- Integration patterns (sync/async, event-driven, pub/sub)
- Security protocols and standards (OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, TLS, mTLS)
- Cloud-native and hybrid integration architectures
- High availability, clustering, and disaster recovery strategies
- CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and automated testing
- Enterprise messaging and data transformation strategies
- Governance models and integration best practices
