Position: Executive / Officer – Knit Fabric Sales
Department: Sales & Marketing

Reporting To: Sales Manager / Business Head

Qualification

- B.Tech / B.E. in Textile Technology or Textile Engineering.
- Additional qualification in Sales & Marketing will be an added advantage.

Experience

- Minimum 2 years of experience in Knit Fabric Sales.
- Experience in handling garment manufacturers, exporters, buying houses, and knitwear customers preferred.
- Knowledge of knitted fabric types, textile processing, and market trends.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain relationships with existing and prospective customers in the knitwear and garment industry.
- Promote and sell knitted fabrics to meet sales targets and business objectives.
- Generate new business opportunities through market visits, referrals, and customer networking.
- Understand customer requirements and coordinate with production, planning, and quality teams to ensure timely delivery.
- Prepare quotations, negotiate prices, and finalize sales orders.
- Monitor customer feedback and resolve product or service-related issues.
- Track market trends, competitor activities, and customer demands.
- Ensure timely collection of payments and maintain healthy customer accounts.
- Maintain sales reports, customer database, and order tracking records.
- Participate in exhibitions,



customer meetings, and promotional activities as required.

Required Skills

- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Good knowledge of knit fabric construction, GSM, yarn counts, and fabric applications.
- Ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
- Proficiency in MS Office and sales reporting tools.
- Willingness to travel extensively for business development activities.

B.Tech Textile graduate with 2 years of proven experience in knit fabric sales, possessing strong market knowledge, excellent customer-handling skills, and the ability to achieve sales growth through effective business development initiatives.
