About the Role

Star Health is looking for an experienced Assistant Manager – Telesales to lead and manage a high-performing telesales team. The candidate will be responsible for driving sales performance, productivity, lead generation, and operational efficiency while ensuring achievement of business targets.

Key Responsibilities

1. Team Management & Leadership

Manage and lead a telesales team of approximately 20–30 members along with 2–3 team leaders.

Drive team productivity and achievement of sales targets.

Motivate, coach, and develop team members to improve performance.

Monitor individual and team-level performance.

1. Sales & Business Performance

Drive lead generation, conversions, and overall telesales performance.

Ensure achievement of daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.

Analyze sales performance and identify areas for improvement.

Implement strategies to improve productivity and conversion rates.

1. Operations & Performance Monitoring

Monitor daily telesales operations and ensure smooth functioning of the process.

Track key performance metrics and prepare regular performance reports.

Handle backend operations, MIS, and performance tracking.





Identify process gaps and take corrective actions.

1. BTL Activities & Campaigns

Plan and execute BTL activities, sales campaigns, and brand promotions.

Support initiatives aimed at increasing lead generation and business conversion.

Coordinate with relevant teams for successful execution of campaigns.

1. Recruitment, Training & Development

Participate in recruitment and selection of telesales team members.

Support onboarding and induction of new employees.

Train, coach, and motivate team members to improve sales performance.

Work closely with team leaders to address performance gaps.

Candidate Profile & Eligibility

Education: Graduate preferred.

Experience: 3–6 years of overall sales experience.

Assistant Manager Experience: Minimum 1 year preferred.

Industry: Insurance sector experience is mandatory.

BPO: BPO experience mandatory.

Sales: Domestic sales experience is mandatory.

Insurance Sales: Preferred and considered an additional advantage.

Age: Maximum 45 years.

Excellent leadership and team-management skills.

Robust communication and interpersonal abilities.

Good analytical and performance-management skills.

Ability to manage large telesales teams and deliver business targets.
