About the Role

Centre Point Group Enterprise is looking for a hands-on and dependable IT Support professional to provide day-to-day IT support across our various business units and properties in Shillong.

The ideal candidate should have practical knowledge of computer hardware, networking, servers, biometric systems, software administration and IT troubleshooting along with the ability to coordinate effectively with external IT vendors and service providers.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys solving technical problems, working with different teams and taking ownership of day-to-day IT operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide first-level and hands-on IT support across the organisation.
- Troubleshoot and repair desktops, laptops, printers, scanners and other IT hardware.
- Diagnose hardware and software issues and ensure timely resolution.
- Install, configure and maintain computers, operating systems and business applications.
- Create and manage official email IDs and user accounts.
- Support installation, configuration and troubleshooting of various software and applications.
- Have working knowledge of LAN, Wi-Fi, routers, switches, IP configuration and basic networking.
- Assist with troubleshooting and maintenance of network infrastructure.
- Monitor and provide basic support for the server room, servers, racks, switches and related equipment.
- Manage and troubleshoot biometric attendance systems and access-control devices.
- Coordinate with IT hardware/software vendors, internet service providers and AMC/service partners for repairs and technical support.
- Maintain records of IT assets, hardware, software and equipment.
- Assist employees with day-to-day technical issues and provide timely IT support.




- Ensure proper documentation of IT issues, repairs and vendor activities.
- Support IT requirements for different hotels, restaurants, offices and other business units of the Group.
- Ensure basic IT security, system updates, backups and good IT practices are followed.
- Handle any other IT-related responsibilities assigned by management.

Candidate Profile

Required Skills & Experience:

- Graduate/Diploma in IT, Computer Science, Networking or a related field preferred.
- 1–3 years of relevant IT support experience preferred.
- Strong practical knowledge of computer hardware and troubleshooting.
- Basic to good knowledge of networking, LAN, Wi-Fi, routers and switches.
- Exposure to server room operations and basic server/network infrastructure.
- Experience with biometric attendance systems will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of email creation, Microsoft 365/Google Workspace or similar systems will be an advantage.
- Good vendor coordination and communication skills.
- Should be comfortable travelling between different business locations within Shillong whenever required.
- Must be responsible, responsive and able to work independently.
- Candidates residing in Shillong will be preferred.
