Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Painter role based at Royal Orchid Hotels in Jaipur. The Painter will prepare and finish interior and exterior surfaces, including walls, ceilings, doors, and fixtures, using appropriate paints, primers, and coatings to meet hotel brand standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include surface preparation (cleaning, sanding, filling cracks and holes), mixing and matching paint colors, applying paint by brush, roller, or spray, and ensuring clean, safe work areas. The role involves performing touch-ups, routine maintenance painting, and decorative finishes in guest rooms, corridors, public areas,



and back-of-house spaces to maintain a high-quality appearance. The Painter will work closely with the maintenance and housekeeping teams, follow safety protocols, and complete tasks within specified timelines to minimize disruption to guests.
Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Paint application, Painting, and Painting and Decorating for both interior and exterior hotel spaces.
- Candidates should possess experience with Coatings, including primers, sealants, and protective finishes suitable for high-traffic hospitality environments.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in Spray Painting techniques for efficient and uniform coverage on varied surfaces.
- Practical experience as a painter, preferably in hotels, commercial buildings, or residential projects.
- Knowledge of surface preparation, color matching, and basic repair work (patching, caulking, minor plaster or putty work).
- Ability to read and follow work orders, safety instructions, and brand standards, with attention to detail and quality.
- Physical ability to stand, bend, climb ladders, and lift moderate weights as required for painting tasks.
- Commitment to workplace safety, use of personal protective equipment, and proper handling of paints and chemicals.
- Basic communication skills to coordinate with supervisors and other departments; ability to work independently or as part of a team.
