About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Lead with extensive hands-on experience in cloud-based data platforms to join our dynamic team at Dentsu Global Services. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing scalable data solutions across multiple cloud environments including AWS, Azure, and GCP. Your expertise will be crucial in building robust data pipelines, implementing modern data architectures, and supporting pre-sales activities by contributing to solution design discussions, proof of concepts, and client presentations. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned developer capable of working independently on complex data engineering challenges, while collaborating effectively with architects, stakeholders, and junior team members to deliver innovative data solutions that meet business needs.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess 6 to 8 years of skilled experience in data engineering and development roles, with a strong background in cloud data platforms. Proficiency in AWS, Azure, or GCP data services such as BigQuery, Synapse, Redshift, and Databricks is essential, with experience in at least two cloud environments. A solid understanding of data modeling,



ETL/ELT pipeline development, data warehousing, and lakehouse architectures is required. Candidates should demonstrate strong Python programming skills for automation, data engineering, and solution prototyping. Familiarity with SaaS-based data platforms like Snowflake or Databricks and experience in implementing Master Data Management (MDM) solutions such as Informatica or Reltio are highly desirable. Additionally, practical knowledge of data governance, security protocols, access control, and compliance standards within cloud environments is necessary. Basic exposure to AI concepts, particularly agentic AI, automation, and intelligent workflows, will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance data pipelines and platforms across AWS, Azure, and GCP cloud environments. Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in Python and SQL, ensuring robust ETL/ELT processes and data transformations. Collaborate with solution architects to implement approved data architectures, providing detailed development-level design inputs. Support pre-sales activities by contributing technical expertise, building proof of concepts, demos, and prototypes to showcase solutions to clients. Implement data quality checks, governance standards, security controls, and compliance measures within all developed solutions. Work closely with cross-functional teams including business analysts, QA, DevOps,



and stakeholders to translate requirements into effective technical implementations. Mentor junior developers through code reviews, technical guidance, and knowledge sharing to promote best practices within the team. Stay abreast of emerging trends and advancements in cloud technologies, data engineering, and AI, recommending improvements to existing data platforms and solutions. Ensure all data solutions adhere to organizational standards for security, privacy, and compliance, supporting the company's commitment to responsible data management.
