About the Opportunity
HummingBird is hiring a Human Resources Associate on behalf of its client, a top automotive company based in Chennai.
The Human Resources Associate will support day-to-day HR operations and employee lifecycle activities, working closely with HR teams, employees, and business stakeholders. The ideal candidate should be organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable handling multiple HR-related activities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day HR operations and administrative activities.
- Assist with employee onboarding, documentation, transfers, and exit processes.
- Maintain and update employee records, HR databases, and personnel files.
- Coordinate joining formalities and ensure timely completion of onboarding documentation.
- Support attendance, leave, employee information, and other HR-related processes.
- Respond to routine employee queries and coordinate with relevant HR teams for resolution.
- Prepare HR letters, reports, trackers, presentations, and other documentation.
- Assist in maintaining HR dashboards and periodic reports.
- Coordinate HR meetings,
employee engagement activities, and internal communications.
- Support performance management, employee engagement, and other HR initiatives.
- Ensure HR records and documentation are maintained accurately and confidentially.
- Assist with HR audits and compliance-related activities.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of HR processes.
- Support special HR projects and process-improvement initiatives as required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3-6 years of experience in HR, HR Operations, HR Administration, or a related role.
- Good understanding of basic HR processes and employee lifecycle management.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good organizational and time-management abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with HRMS/HRIS platforms will be an advantage.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling employee information.
