Ideal Candidate

We are looking for an experienced Finance / IFMIS Consultant with proven expertise in Government financial management, Treasury operations, IFMIS/IFMS, and large-scale e-Governance initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring strong functional knowledge of public-sector financial processes, hands-on experience with government projects, and the ability to translate complex business requirements into effective technology-driven solutions. The candidate should be confident in engaging with senior government stakeholders, implementation teams, and technology partners to drive successful project outcomes.

Job Responsibilities

- Support and monitor Government IFMIS/IFMS and e-Governance projects.
- Work closely with Finance and Treasury departments to understand and improve financial processes.
- Provide functional expertise in IFMIS, Treasury, budgeting, accounting, payments, receipts, and financial reporting.
- Support requirements gathering, process mapping,



functional specifications, testing, implementation, and rollout.
- Monitor project milestones, deliverables, risks, and implementation activities.
- Coordinate with government officials, technology teams, and implementation partners.
- Identify process gaps and recommend technology-enabled improvements.
- Prepare project reports, MIS, dashboards, presentations, and stakeholder updates.
- Participate in workshops, user consultations, training, and change-management activities.

Key Skills and Qualifications

- 5+ years of relevant experience in Government Finance, Treasury, Public Financial Management, or IFMIS projects.
- Hands-on experience in IFMIS/IFMS implementation, monitoring, or enhancement.
- Experience working with Government Finance / Treasury departments.
- Strong understanding of Government financial processes and Treasury operations.
- Experience with large-scale e-Governance / digital transformation projects.
- Strong stakeholder management, analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
- Ability to work effectively with government officials and technology/project teams.
- B.Tech / M.Tech / MCA / MBA / PGDM or equivalent relevant Finance qualification will be an added advantage.
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Economics, Public Administration, or a related field.
