Software Developer

KSB Pumps Limited is seeking a talented Software Developer to architect and develop software for one of the world's topmost configuration solutions. This is an exciting opportunity for a B.E. in Mechanical or Computer Science Engineering professional with a strong emphasis on programming, ready to contribute to a rapid-paced, distributed environment.

Responsibilities:

- Architect and develop software for one of the topmost configuration software of the world.
- Plan, manage and execute software evaluation, testing and prototyping.
- Identify and debug issues with programming code and suggest changes or improvements.
- Track development progress, manage expectations, and meet scheduled deadlines.
- Analyze, Design and Implement Database Structures.
- Extend KSB's pump Selection software to accommodate additional pump types, including the preparation of databases and uploading data in MS-SQL/Oracle.

Skills & Abilities:

- Strong computer skills, decision making, problem solving, verbal and written communication skills.




- Possess understanding of software design methodology, including Agile Scrum Development.
- Possess strong analytical skills and knowledge of software design to include objected oriented design.
- Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment.
- Strong Interpersonal skills, must see big picture.
- Demonstrated proficiency in one or more programming language (C++, C#, Java, Camos.Develop).
- Working knowledge of MS SQL, Oracle.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, distributed environment.

Qualifications:

- Formal education: B.E. in Mechanical Engineering or B.E. in Computer Science Engineering (or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering or Mechanical Engineering with strong emphasis on programming).
- Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel to Germany and other European countries.
