Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site SEO Specialist role based in Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir. The candidate is expected to work from our Srinagar office and should be comfortable managing SEO activities independently in a quick-paced digital marketing agency environment.

We are looking for a hands-on SEO professional with at least 2 years of practical experience managing SEO for websites and delivering measurable organic growth.

The candidate should be able to work independently, take ownership of SEO activities, and develop and execute strategies without requiring constant supervision. The role involves keyword research, on-page and technical SEO, SEO audits, content optimisation, internal linking, link building, competitor analysis, and performance tracking.

The SEO Specialist will be responsible for monitoring organic traffic, keyword rankings, search visibility, and other key SEO metrics using tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and SEO platforms. They should be able to identify issues, recommend solutions, implement improvements, and clearly report the impact of their work.





The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of achieving SEO results, such as improving keyword rankings, increasing organic traffic, generating organic leads, or improving overall search visibility. Candidates should be comfortable working across multiple client websites and managing SEO activities from strategy through execution and reporting.

The role also requires close coordination with content, design, and development teams to ensure SEO best practices are incorporated into websites and digital initiatives.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Minimum 2 years of hands-on SEO experience, preferably in an agency or client-servicing environment.
- On-site availability in Srinagar is mandatory.
- Strong practical knowledge of Keyword Research, On-Page SEO, and Technical SEO.
- Ability to independently conduct SEO audits and identify technical, content, and performance issues.
- Hands-on experience with Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and SEO tools.
- Good understanding of technical SEO, including crawlability, indexing, site architecture, page speed, mobile optimisation, redirects, canonicalisation, and structured data.
- Experience with content optimisation, internal linking, and keyword mapping.
- Practical experience in white-hat link building and off-page SEO.
- Ability to conduct competitor analysis and identify opportunities to improve search visibility.
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, meet deadlines, and take ownership of assigned projects.
- Proven SEO results are highly preferred — candidates should be able to demonstrate previous improvements in organic traffic, keyword rankings, leads, or search visibility.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn SEO data into actionable recommendations.
- Positive communication skills, with the ability to explain SEO performance and recommendations to clients and non-technical team members.
