Presently Axis Bank Retail Microfinance operates in 26 States & UTs across 1094 branches covering 20 lac active women JLG (Joint Liability Group) borrowers with total loan outstanding of Rs. 4,217 Cr as on Feb-23. There are many prospective graduated JLG borrowers requiring higher ticket size which cannot be served through JLG product. This is where Individual Loan comes in. IL will be offered at individual capacity of customer based on business activity and detailed income assessment ticket size ranging up to 2.5 lacs.
About role:
Area Sales Manager (ASM) sets the vision for area and develops and adheres to a business plan to attain this vision. ASM is responsible for maintaining the profit and loss of the location and for the business expansion and growth of the lending book of the area so as to achieve the topline and profitability goals. ASM manages team of Relationship Managers (BM equivalent) to ensure that they are able to respond proactively to the business issues and challenges by providing them with the required guidance and support.
Key responsibilities:
- Drive Individual Loan product business at area level managing multiple branches
- Achieve branch level disbursement and collection targets assigned by the bank on monthly basis
- Conducting marketing activities and travel locally to meet and acquire recent customers
- Ensure on-time collections and maintain profitable book
- To drive cross sell of other products of the bank through existing customers and referrals
- Achieving defined TAT for onboarding and disbursing customers
- Liaise with other departments / stakeholders for smooth functioning of day-to-day operations

Qualification:
- Graduation from a recognized university
