Position: MicroStrategy BI Developer

Location: Hyderabad (Hybrid)

Job Description:

We are seeking a MicroStrategy BI Developer with the expertise to create and manage analytics solutions that transform data into knowledge. If you are analytical, a strong communicator, and possess business acumen with a problem-solving mindset, this role is for you.

You will collaborate with clients to design, develop, implement, and support enterprise Business Intelligence (BI) solutions using MicroStrategy. As a report developer, you will create, test, and implement reports and dashboards to meet business requirements. A robust customer focus, basic domain knowledge of the retail industry, and self-drive are essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities:

- Lead BI design and development activities using MicroStrategy.
- Design, develop, and maintain all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and document business requirements.
- Perform MicroStrategy project design ensuring requirements are met.
- Develop business intelligence reports and dashboards to meet client needs.




- Support database design in collaboration with BI analysts and data modelers.
- Communicate technical issues and solutions with stakeholders and teams.
- Educate teams on updates and new MicroStrategy features.

Basic Qualifications:

- 5+ years of experience with MicroStrategy, SAS, Erwin, and Tableau.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced Agile environment.
- Self-motivation and quick learning ability.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Bachelors Degree in a related field.
- 10+ years of experience as a BI Developer.
- Experience with cloud technologies and MicroStrategy products in the cloud.
- Background in the insurance and/or financial services industry.
- Familiarity with JIRA Service Desk and Confluence.
- Unique combination of business acumen and deep technical expertise in BI, analytics, and reporting.
