Job DescriptionA2Z Accounting Solutions (a2zaccounting.co.uk) is a UK Chartered Certified Accountancy (ACCA) firm supporting UK limited-company clients. We are hiring a mid-level Accountant for our bookkeeping, VAT and management accounts team, to develop into a senior role.Minimum 3 years UK practice experience is essential, including hands-on management accounts experience. This is a hands-on, client-facing role with a clear path to senior: you will run client work, prepare and interpret management accounts, and guide UK business owners on what their numbers mean.What you will doRun bookkeeping, VAT and management accounts for a portfolio of UK clientsPrepare and review VAT returns (MTD, flat rate, partial exemption, reconciliations)Prepare monthly and quarterly management accounts with clear commentaryTalk to clients, answer queries, and guide them on their numbers, not just report themGrow into a senior role over time: reviewing work and mentoring junior team membersYou must have● Minimum 3 years UK practice experience in bookkeeping, VAT and management accounts.
